Experience new
tastes and great music at a wine, food, or ethnic festival. Catch
a rising star at a Pocono Mountains nightspot. Take a lazy tube
ride down a winding river. Watch a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks
display. Have a picnic lunch at a waterfall. Rise above it all on
a scenic air tour of the Pocono Mountains. Go jump in one of the
Pocono Mountains 150 lakes. If your feeling a little adventurous,
play paintball or tackle a tough mountain bike trail. Escape back
to nature on a canoe, rafting, fishing, or camping trip. Join us
for the Delaware River or the Lehigh River Sojourns in June or Pennsylvania
Greenway Sojourn in July. Check out an arts and crafts fair. If
you have children, take them for an old fashioned train ride, or
a horseback ride,

| Autumn
is a spectacular season in the Pocono Mountains, when the air
is crisp and the scenery is breathtaking. With over 100 varieties
of trees here, fall creates a blaze of red, orange, and gold. And
enjoying the magnificent fall foliage can be as easy as taking a leisurely
afternoon drive along rustic roads. Usually the trees begin to change
in September, and by early November the leaves have fallen. |

| The
Pocono Mountains are the perfect winter wonderland. Over 146
slopes and trails beckon, whether you are an expert skier meeting
the moguls, or a beginner gently exploring the hills. To help families
learn to ski the major areas and resort ski areas of the Pocono Mountains
offer special Learn to Ski Packages. For a romantic ride, go dashing
through the snow in a horse drawn sleigh ride. If you love to golf,
play in the annual Ice Tee Golf Tournament on frozen Lake Wallenpaupack.
Of course, not every enticement is found outdoors. Once inside, you'll
find resorts offer nightly entertainment, swimming pools, health clubs,
indoor tennis, game rooms and more. |
